• Department: Antepartum (Unit 16955)
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Gynecology
• Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Yes

Patient Population

• Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, pediatrics

Unit Details

• Beds: 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Antepartum, 10 Postpartum/Gyn/Peds
• Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
• Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Nurse License valid in North Carolina
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• STABLE certification
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN
• Experience in charge nurse roles
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

• Position requires ability to float within unit
