Job Opportunity: Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), totaling 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend plus holiday rotation
Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3
Float: RN will float within scope to all Pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, PICU
Block schedule accommodation possible with manager approval, dependent on unit needs
Local radius: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
Emergency response team assignment required (STORM TEAMS) during hurricane season (June-November)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience working with Pediatric patients
