Job Opportunity: RN Charge/Supervisor - Nursing Administration
Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the patient care area
- Direct and develop nursing staff, including selection, orientation, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide physical, psychological, and emotional support to patients and families
- Ensure compliance with nursing operational, financial, and quality standards
- Develop and update nursing policies and procedures
- Enforce adherence to state board of nursing and nurse practice act requirements
- Monitor patient care documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Maintain safe, clean, and well-equipped work environment
- Manage nursing supplies and equipment inventory
- Participate in professional development and maintain current nursing knowledge
- Foster cooperative relationships within healthcare teams
- Take ownership of organizational goals and contribute to continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- Minimum 2 years of House Supervisor experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in supervisory roles within an acute care setting
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP certification
- TNCC certification
Contract Length
- 13 weeks

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Experience in nursing administration and leadership essential
- Must meet all certification and licensing requirements to be considered
