Position Details

• Specialty: Behavioral Health Unit (BHU)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other or every third weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Unit Beds: 14
• Patient Ratio: 8:1
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult and geriatric patients in a behavioral health setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
