Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with a day off after call
• OR 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Call required: one night per week and every 5th weekend
• Floating between units required

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Special Procedures
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
• Experience with EPIC documentation system

Required Certifications and Licenses

• South Carolina state license (must be current and primary source verified)

Systems and Equipment

• Medication system: Omnicell
• Documentation system: EPIC (1 year experience required)

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background check: 7-year history, including aliases and all states/counties lived/worked in last 7 years
• Drug screening: 5-panel within 1 year, updated annually
• Physical exam: within 1 year, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working in high-risk areas)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved exemption (not required for remote workers)
• Respirator fit test to be completed onsite during orientation

Orientation and Training

• Completion of online Cornerstone modules within 72 hours of assignment (approx. 12 hours) required before start
• Pass/fail testing on medication and arrhythmia exams required for RNs
• Annual competencies and core training (Parts I, II, III) required
• Floating policy acknowledgment required

Additional Notes

• Badge photo required prior to start (passport-style, plain background)
• Must carry valid driver's license for computer access setup
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

Summary

This is a travel/contract Interventional Radiology position requiring a minimum of 3 years critical care nursing experience (preferably Neuro ICU) and 2 years in the specialty.
