Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

• Schedule: Thursday through Saturday (Friday-Saturday weekend required)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Floating: Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated

• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Special Requirements: Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
• NICU Level: Level 2 NICU experience required
• Pediatric & NICU Experience: Must have both

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Maryland
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience working with Pediatric patients

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Certification: CRT or RRT required
• Preferred Certification: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred but not mandatory

Required Qualifications & Compliance

• Must provide proof of I9 or attestation
• Valid Driver’s License/State ID with proof of Maryland residency (if using compact license, DL must match state of license)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG (all required annually)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start date (must be updated annually)
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start date
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start date (annual updates required)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start date
• Flu vaccine required annually (declinations or exemptions not accepted)
• Proof of 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• NURSYS verification as applicable

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required documentation and certifications prior to start.
• Fingerprinting required for school placements only (not applicable for this position).
• Candidates must be prepared to work the specified weekend schedule.
• Floating assignments will be within the scope of practice.
