Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Nights)

Location: Gilbert, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Oncology specialty for a night shift assignment. Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week. Return to Office (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days and is not allowed during the first week of the assignment. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is highly encouraged.


Required Qualifications

  • Specialty Experience: Minimum of 24 months Oncology experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
  • Licensure: Active RN license to practice in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days.
  • Certifications:
    • Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
    • Active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Flu vaccination (medical and/or religious exemptions accepted; vaccination status must be included in submission).
    • Valid driver’s license to verify residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in Arizona facilities).
    • No hits on state license to practice.
    • Oncology skills checklist completed within the last 12 months.
    • Resume must include all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds.
    • Completion of required learning modules prior to assignment start.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must submit a complete cover page outlining all criteria they are willing to accept, including facilities, shifts, and departments.
  • Non-billable hours are adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
  • Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
  • Strict adherence to all background check standards is required.
