Job Opportunity: Echocardiogram Technologist (Permanent)

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire

Job Summary

Perform all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures including:

• Editing tracings
• Making measurements and entering data into the computer
• Distinguishing between normal and abnormal cardiac findings
• Performing cardiac sonographer duties such as recognizing arrhythmias and understanding cardiac diagnoses to obtain optimal studies

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS eligible background
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac echo experience (highest required years of experience)
• Certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography
• Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in New Hampshire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Additional Information

• Dress code: Personal scrubs, any color
• Electronic Medical Record system used: HMS Medhost
• No prior travel experience required
