Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Seneca, South Carolina

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Hybrid position requiring registration and competency in both Nuclear Medicine and CT.
• Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Must have experience with Siemens equipment (required). Experience with GE & Philips is preferred.
• Required procedure experience includes PET scans.
• Candidates with prior travel experience will be reviewed, but first-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in the field.
• Must have 1 year of EPIC system experience.
• Scrubs color: Hunter Green.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• CT Technologist experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registered
• SCRQSA certification
• Experience with PET scans
• Experience with Epic system

Prior Travel Experience

• First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience; prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and fingerprinting as applicable.
• Drug screening within 1 year and updated annually.
• Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to meet physical demands.
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if applicable).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start.
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B documentation or exemptions as applicable.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required.
• Required certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of start date.

Orientation and Training

• Completion of online modules within 72 hours of assignment.
• Pass/fail testing (EKG/Medication) required prior to start.
• Annual competencies and core training required, including medication/pharmacology competency exams.

Additional Notes

• Badge photo required prior to start.
• Floating policy acknowledgment required.
• HIPAA and OSHA training acknowledgment required.
• Candidates must carry a valid driver’s license for computer access setup.

This position is ideal for Nuclear Medicine Technologists with CT registration looking for a travel contract in South Carolina with hybrid responsibilities and experience in PET scans and Siemens equipment.
