Job Opportunity: Rad Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist experienced in a high volume, high acuity cath lab environment. The role focuses on scrub duties but also requires the ability to monitor hemodynamics using Philips Xper and document/chart in EPIC Cupid.

Monitor hemodynamics

Circulate as needed

Schedule

Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM plus on-call
On-call includes weekends and holidays
On-call schedule: 11 weeks with 2 weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a 6-week rotation
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36

Unit Information

Unit: WMC Cath Lab
Number of Beds: 450
Patient Population: Adult
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including within the last year
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
ACLS certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ARRT certification
Experience working with adult patients

Preferred Skills

Strong scrub skills
Ability to monitor and document hemodynamics
Experience circulating in the cath lab

Additional Information

Dress Code: Blue scrubs per facility policy
No unacceptable attire per Valley Health dress code policy

Note: Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
