Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provide care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologists or Cardiologists.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Radiology Technologist experience

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation.
• Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment.
• Subject to stressful professional relationships.
• Flexible working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.
• Physical demands include lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients and equipment over 50 lbs.

Additional Information

• Weekend work required.
• On-call requirement: approximately 10 out of 12 days per month, including weekends.

This position is a travel assignment with a 13-week contract length. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
