Job Opportunity: NICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Experienced NICU RN needed for a Level 4 surgical NICU caring for patients from 23 weeks gestation up to 1 year old.
• Patient diagnoses include PPHN, bowel perforation or NEC, BPD, tracheostomy/G-button evaluations, pre-op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and others.
• Travelers will primarily float and may be assigned to the PICU, CCU, or med-surg floors with similar patient skill sets.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, with one additional shift every 3 weeks during high census periods.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, including experience working with neonate and infant patients
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Staff may be required to float to other units with similar patient populations.
• Compliance with all facility-specific documentation and credentialing processes is mandatory before start date.
