Radiologic Technologist (Days)

Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist operates a Computerized Tomographic (CT) scanner to image various body parts including the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities. This role functions under the direction of radiologists and supervision of the Director of Radiology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures across a wide range of patient ages: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Cross-train in additional imaging modalities as needed.
• Interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Utilize computer applications and learn new software systems as required.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology.
• Registered in radiography.
• Training and/or experience with radiology practices for all patient age groups listed above.
• Proven communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with computer applications; technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification in computed tomography (CT) is highly preferred.
