Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech - Surgical Services

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Shift: Day/Evening rotating schedule with 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts
• Shift rotation is required
• Call requirements: 2-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekends of call per 4-week schedule
• Call shifts are no longer than 12 hours; weekend call is either Friday-Saturday night or Saturday-Sunday daytime
• Work with adult cardiac surgery patients, vascular, and thoracic cases including complex and high acuity patients

Patient Cases Include:

Cardiac:

• LVAD/RVAD
• Heart Transplant
• Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• MVR, AVR, CABG
• ECMO
• MAZE procedure
• Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices

Thoracic:

• Transplant
• VATS Wedge Resection
• VATS/Open Lobectomy
• Esophagectomy (Minimally Invasive & Transhiatal)
• Bronchoscopy
• EGD
• Mediastinal Mass Removal
• Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair

Vascular:

• AAA
• EVAR
• Carotid Endarterectomy
• AV Fistulas
• Fem-distal bypass
• Fem-fem bypass
• SMA bypass
• Vein stripping/ablation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Ability to cardiac scrub
