Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (36 hours per week)
Required Qualifications
- Valid MRI Technologist license/certification (ARRT certification required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred)
- N95 fit test completed within 1 year prior to start date and updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
- Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 1 year of start date
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
- Tdap vaccination preferred within last 10 years
- Criminal background checks including:
- State and national criminal background checks
- Massachusetts CORI check
- Sex offender registry check
- Exclusion list checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid)
- Verification of highest level of education achieved
- Resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state details
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
Additional Requirements
- Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date
- No acceptance of conditional licenses
- Must comply with all health and safety policies, including no religious or medical exemptions for N95 fit testing and flu vaccine
- Documentation must be updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray
