Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Elkhart, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Interventional Radiology (Radiology / Cardiology)
Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
Call Requirement: 2 nights per week with 30-minute callback
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Daily Caseload: Approximately 15 cases per tech
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
First-time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Not accepted if living within 50 miles of the facility
License: Active Indiana state license required prior to start (pending licenses accepted if active before start)
Special Requirements:
- Maintain sterile environment assisting radiologists in minimally invasive procedures
- Rotate call with 30-minute callback response time

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Indiana
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
Candidates must be able to maintain sterile technique and assist in minimally invasive procedures.
Call rotation requires availability for 2 nights per week with a 30-minute callback response time.
Locals within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel assignment.

This position is ideal for Interventional Radiology Technologists with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel contract in a Level III trauma acute care setting.
