Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Job Description

• Night shift pharmacist position with a rotating schedule that includes holidays if they fall within the rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license for Massachusetts (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted).
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
• Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccines or proof of immunity.
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 15), no exemptions allowed.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months.
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date and updated if there is a break longer than 6 months.
• Strongly preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity or declination.
• Additional recommended vaccinations: Tdap within the last 10 years.
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit testing is required.
• Criminal background checks including:

  • State and national criminal background checks.
  • Massachusetts CORI check.
  • Sex offender registry check.
  • Exclusion checks against federal and state healthcare exclusion lists.
• Verification of highest level of education.
• Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two professional references within the last 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
• Completion of skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
• Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions.

Additional Information

• All required documentation must be current and updated as specified.
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for influenza vaccine.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• This position requires compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements prior to start.
