Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Special Procedures
Number of Beds: 2 IR suites
Staff: 4 IR Nurses, 4 IR Techs
Shifts:
- Day Shift: Day shift coverage
- Night Shift: On call
Patient Ratios: Average of 10 patients per room
Equipment: Philips biplane, Toshiba single plane

Typical Procedures Performed

PICC lines
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Kyphoplasty
Port placement
Ablations
ESI (Epidural Steroid Injection)
EKOS for PE (Pulmonary Embolism)
Trevo for Stroke

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in New Hampshire
ARRT certification
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

Work Schedule

On call every 3rd to 4th weekend
On call one weeknight

Additional Notes

Scrubs are provided by the hospital
License must be active at time of application submission

This position does not specify a requirement for prior travel experience.
