Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Dress code for licensed nursing personnel: solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific pediatric or women's services units)
- Parking: Free in unrestricted employee/visitor lots
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format; gaps or overlaps must be explained
- Skills checklist: Required annually for applicable units
- Background checks: Comprehensive background check within 45 days of start, including SSN trace, education verification, and state-specific searches as applicable
- Mandatory completion of facility and regional compliance modules annually via LMS platform (WorkRamp)
- Floating policy acknowledgment required (may float to other nearby facilities)
