Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
On Call: Yes, call rotations on nights and weekends
Weekends: Call only
Job Description
Seeking an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic echocardiography. The position requires participation in call rotations during nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technician with at least 1 year of experience
- Echo Technician experience within the last year
- ARDMS certification
Additional Requirements for Onboarding
- COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or completed declination
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, and TB test
- Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
- Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work
- National criminal background check within one year of start date
- Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC) within 60 days of start
- Completion of specialty and core competencies exams with a minimum score of 80%
- Completion of workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP)
- Submission of updated resume and two professional references (one from a manager or supervisor)
- Completion of agency attestation and employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or equivalent)
- Upload of orientation packet including essentials form and post-test
- Other facility-specific credentialing and documentation as required
Summary
This is a 13-week long-term assignment for an Echo Technologist working primarily day shifts with call responsibilities. Candidates must hold ARDMS certification and BLS certification, meet all immunization and health screening requirements, and complete required competency exams and onboarding documentation.
