Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Location: Corsicana, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in a 10-bed ICU with occasional medical-surgical overflow
• Patient ratio approximately 1:2-3 depending on patient acuity and clinician experience
• Responsibilities include vent management, post-cath lab care, critical drips, and serving as primary nurse in the critical care unit (CCU)
• No call, no block scheduling, no 48-hour guarantee
• Maximum required time off (RTO) is 36 hours
• No floating to other units
• Scrubs required in any solid color

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Experience with vent management, post-cath lab care, and critical drips
