Description

Clinic RN - Cardiology

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work Monday-Friday, Days
Triage and assess patient concerns
Provide care coordination across cardiology services
Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
Start IVs for diagnostic testing
Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
Occasionally assist with patient rooming in clinic

Required Qualifications

Current Colorado RN license in good standing
BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Minimum 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic/ambulatory experience
Experience with Athena and Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems; EMR conversion from Athena to Epic expected

Additional Information

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule)
