Position Details

• Specialty: General Pharmacist
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift Options:

  • 4 shifts of 10 hours each
  • 5 shifts of 8 hours each
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 30 - 40
• Weekend Hours: None
• Call Requirements: Occasional
• Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Education: PharmD
• Licenses: Pharmacist License in the State of Utah
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in pharmacy specialty (higher requirement applied)
• Inpatient pharmacy experience required, including:

  • Med/surg
  • ICU
  • NICU
  • IV order preparation and checking
  • Infusion

Desired Skills & Experience

• Must have experience in:

  • Cardiology
  • Infectious disease
  • Trauma
  • Inpatient general pharmacy
  • Pediatrics (Peds)
  • NICU
  • Obstetrics (OB)
• Preferred experience in ambulatory care and surgery

Common Diagnoses/Treatments Encountered

• Pneumonia
• Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
• Cellulitis
• Atrial Fibrillation (AFIB)
• Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
• STEMI and N-STEMI (types of heart attacks)
• Stroke
