Job Summary

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with at least 2 years of experience in the specialty. The role involves performing plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. The position requires collaboration with the care team, physicians, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions such as medication administration and specimen collection
• Document patient care provided
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, patients, and families
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support
• Evaluate and provide patient/family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

• Call requirements and weekend hours may apply
• Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
