Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology

Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Shift: Days
• Hours:

  • 36 hours per week (9-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • or 40 hours per week (shifts either 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekend Hours: Call only
• Call Requirements:

  • Maximum 1-2 weeknights per week
  • Every 6th weekend (Friday-Sunday) on call
• Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist (R) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Unit Information

• Number of procedure rooms: 3
• Staffing model: 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating scrubbing and circulating procedures
• Equipment: Siemens imaging systems
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC
