Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 5 shifts of 8 hours each
• Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: No
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: Traveler will float to a nearby sister facility
• Orientation: Traveler must be onsite for orientation and assist with opening a new department
• Scrub Color: Grey or Steel
• Special Requirements: Experience with TrueBeam technology required
• First-time Travelers: Accepted if they have the required experience

Required Qualifications

• License: ARRT (T) certification required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• I9 or Attestation
• Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front/back)
• E-Verify or Attestation
• Proof of Name Change (if applicable)
• 7-year Background Check including SSN Trace, State and Federal checks, Education Verification
• Education Verification (accredited programs required)
• Physical Exam within 1 year, signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA
• Fit Mask Test within 12 months, updated annually (specific mask types required)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • TDAP (within 10 years or signed declination)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or facility-specific exemption during flu season
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Color Blindness Testing: Ishihara exam required prior to start (online testing not accepted)
• COVID-19: Proof of vaccination or signed declination accepted

Competency Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam (updated annually)
• Core Competency Exams (Parts I, II, III) with minimum 80% score, updated annually
• OSHA Mandatory Training, updated annually
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (if applicable)

Additional Notes

• Candidates with employment gaps over 15 days are considered new and must meet full requirements
• References: 2 references from the last 2 years required, including one from the last year, preferably from a charge nurse, manager, or supervisor
• Employment history verification for the last 3 years required, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Traveler will assist with opening a new department onsite, requiring presence at the facility for orientation
