ICU Registered Nurse - Arizona

Location: Tuba City, Arizona

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to critically ill patients primarily within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The role includes floating to Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics units as needed during low census periods. Responsibilities involve inpatient care and support in a 5-bed ICU for patients of all ages, including after-hours recovery of post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
• Licensure: Current, valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
• Certifications: Must maintain throughout employment:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (to be completed within 6 months of hire)
  • Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) (to be completed within 6 months of hire)
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (to be completed within 6 months of hire)

Additional Information

• Shared contractor housing available (no pets or family allowed)
• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
• COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submission of a declination form
