Description

Registered Nurse (PACU)

Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 9 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:30)
On-Call: 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Call Requirements: 7-8 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekend (07:00-07:00), weeknight (20:00-07:00), and holiday coverage (07:00-07:00)
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:1, can be up to 1:3 when holding for beds
Unit Beds: 9
Patient Types: General, Orthopedic, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry, OB-GYN
Equipment: Phillips Monitors
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Scrubs provided; adhere to facility dress code policy
Mandatory hospital orientation, education modules, and Epic training required before starting
Reporting location: Main lobby information desk; park in designated employee parking

This position does not require prior travel experience.
