MRI Technician - Overnight Shift

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Wednesday to Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM; Saturday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Unit: Radiology – MRI
• Work Sites: Rotating coverage between two outpatient sites
• Floating: Required
• Rotating Shifts: Required
• Holiday Coverage: Rotating

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners
• Phlebotomy skills
• Proficiency with Outlook and strong interpersonal skills

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• CPR certification
• Valid MRI Technician license as required by Massachusetts
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System

• EPIC

Required Qualifications & Onboarding Documentation

• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Physician health statement within 1 year of start date
• Criminal background checks including state and national registries
• Resume with past 7 years of work experience
• Two professional references (minimum one supervisor-level) within 4 years
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year
• Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance
• Education verification of highest degree or certification
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists)
• N95 Fit Test within 1 year and annual updates (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
• License/certification primary source verification within 30 days of start date (no conditional licenses accepted)

Additional Information

• Must be able to work overnight shifts and rotate between sites
• Strong interpersonal skills required for team collaboration and patient interaction
• Compliance with all health and safety regulations, including immunizations and fit testing, is mandatory
