Special Procedures Tech

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in Angiography/Special Procedures unit with a focus on Neuro Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR) procedures.
Unit has 4 beds and a staff of 9 (5 RNs and 4 technologists).
Equipment includes Phillips and GE biplane systems.
Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.
Typical procedures involve heavy Neuro volumes.
Dress code: Navy scrubs.
On-call responsibilities include after-hours and weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including Neuro IR experience
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification
