Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shifts with rotating shifts and holiday coverage required.
• Work involves rotating coverage between two sites, including outpatient imaging and hospital-based MRI.
• Unit: Radiology – MRI
• Bed count at hospital: 371
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
• Floating between sites required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience with Siemens MRI scanners required
• Phlebotomy experience required
• ARRT certification required

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) required
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement within 1 year of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Background checks including criminal, CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender, and exclusion checks required within specified timeframes
• BLS certification (AHA preferred) required
• Submission of references and skills checklist required prior to assignment

Additional Information

• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Must be able to float between two sites
• Candidate must complete all required documentation and credential verifications prior to onboarding

This position is suitable for MRI Technicians with solid Siemens scanner experience and the ability to work flexible shifts including holidays.
