Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location: Quincy, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Join a Level II trauma center as an ER Registered Nurse providing care for both adults and children. This facility includes a 30-bed emergency department with 27 medical beds and 3 psychiatric beds, averaging 120 patients per day. The ED is also a Level II Stroke Center and a Chest Pain accredited facility, with a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors operating from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license in Illinois
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (AHA approved)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience

Additional Information

Immediate start required
Patient assignments based on census and acuity (POD nursing)
Various shift ranges available
Experience working in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center preferred
