Job Opportunity: Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Description

• Rotating 8-hour day and evening shifts available, with the option for a consistent 8-hour evening shift.
• Weekend coverage approximately every 3-4 weeks.
• No on-call requirement.
• Locals are accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome if other qualifications are met.
• Focus on inpatient pharmacy workflows including order verification, IV room oversight, automated dispensing system management, and related processes.
• The role requires a friendly, adaptable, and clinically skilled candidate to ensure safe and efficient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience
• Pharmacist experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific documents and acknowledgments prior to start (e.g., confidentiality agreement, standards of appearance, social media policy, compliance forms).
• Required to pass medication/pharmacology competency exams as applicable.
• Two professional references required.
• Current application or resume required.
• Skills checklist updated annually.

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
