Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Summerville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 36 hours per week
• No floating policy
• Unit: Respiratory Therapy Department
• Patient experience required in NICU/PICU
• Procedures performed on unit involve advanced respiratory care
• Documentation system: MEDITECH
• Equipment used includes Servo U (adult and pediatric), Drager VN500 (infants), and High Frequency Jet Vent (infants)
• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Neonate, Infant, and Pediatric patients
• NICU/PICU experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC

• The facility is an acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room

• Work schedule includes every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM) with 36 hours per week
• No floating to other units
