Pediatric Acute RN - Contract Opportunity

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting. Work independently to complete nursing assignments following physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies. Support patients of all ages and their families with a variety of nursing procedures tailored to specific patient conditions and treatments.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, territory, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (Arizona state license not required)
• Current certifications (must be maintained throughout employment):

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) – to be completed within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – to be completed within 6 months of hire

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Prior travel experience: Required

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
• COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submitting a declination form
• Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed)
• The community is culturally diverse, serving Native American tribes including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute
