Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Job Description
Seeking a well-rounded Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer skilled in a variety of exams. The role involves performing over 50% vascular scans, pediatrics, general ultrasound, emergency department (ED), operating room (OR), and assisting with invasive exams.
Procedures Performed
- General ultrasound
- Vascular scans including:
- Carotids
- Venous upper and lower extremities
- Arterial upper and lower extremities
- Vascular abdomen
- Renal artery
- Vein mapping upper and lower extremities
- AV fistulas/grafts
Equipment Used
- Logiq E9
- Logiq E10
- Dolphin TCD Machine
- Parks-ABI machine
Documentation Systems
- Cerner
- PACS
Scheduling & Floating
- Weekday staffing includes multiple sonographers across shifts
- Floating may be required to Interventional Radiology (IR) and Emergency Room (ER)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in Radiology, including experience within the last year
- Ability to perform 50% or greater vascular scans
- Pediatrics ultrasound scanning experience
- Emergency Department (ED) ultrasound scanning experience
- Operating Room (OR) ultrasound scanning and assisting experience
- Ability to assist with invasive exams
- Certifications:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or ARRT (S)
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) – advanced vascular skills required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
