Description

MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

Work as an MRI Technologist in a busy hospital setting known for trauma and pediatric care.
Operate GE MRI equipment.
Perform MRI procedures including contrast and non-contrast imaging.
Typical hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Rotating weekends required.
Dress code: Black scrubs.

Unit Information

Staff on unit: Approximately 9 (day shift example: 1 charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
EMR system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist, including experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) Certification required
BLS certification required
Must be MRI registered

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Breast MRI preferred.

Additional Notes

Friendly and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth.
Rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities may be part of the schedule.

No prior travel experience requirement specified.
