Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Boise, Idaho
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Coverage needed for an RN going out on FMLA starting January 1.
- Position is in the Operating Room (OR).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for RNs working in critical care areas (including OR)
- License verification must be dated within 30 days of start
- Fit test
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster) or approved exemption
- MMR vaccination proof or immunity
- Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
- Influenza vaccine proof or approved exemption (seasonal)
- 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test; chest x-ray if positive TB
- Varicella vaccination proof or immunity
- Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years
- Education verification (degree or diploma/GED)
- Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO)
- Conflict of interest and code of conduct forms
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
- Skills checklist for clinical competency (provided by agency)
