Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room
Location: Boise, Idaho
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, with recent OR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required for RNs working in critical care areas such as CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- License and certification verifications must be current and dated within 30 days of start date.
- Fit test and 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start date (including specific substances; no THC allowed).
- Proof of immunizations and health screenings:
- COVID-19 vaccine (including booster or approved exemption).
- MMR (2 vaccinations or IgG titer).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start.
- Influenza vaccine or approved exemption.
- Varicella vaccination or IgG titer.
- 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test with chest x-ray if positive (per regional requirements).
- Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year.
- Background and professional verifications including:
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years).
- Education verification (highest academic degree or equivalent).
- Exclusion and sanction screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO).
- Conflict of interest and code of conduct forms.
- System access and confidentiality agreements.
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.

This is a long-term contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care in Boise, Idaho.
