Job Summary

Seeking a Pediatric Ultrasound Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. The position is day shift with a schedule that may change based on unit needs. Start date is ASAP.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
• Pediatric experience is a must
• First-time travelers accepted only if they have 3+ years of recent experience
• Prior travel experience is NOT explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
• Must hold a valid state license as applicable for Ultrasound Techs

Other Qualifications

• Must live within 100 miles of the facility location
• Required to submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation at time of application
• Cannot request time off for Memorial Day and 4th of July

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
• E-Verify or attestation as applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Proof of vaccinations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year of start
• Two recent professional references required

Additional Notes

• Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses with glare, etc.)
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs, Caribbean blue for RRTs, steel gray for Surgical and OB Techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
• Various competency exams and facility-specific documents required prior to start
• Must sign confidentiality acknowledgment before starting
