Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Ashland, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Full-time position in a small Critical Access Hospital community laboratory.
• You will be the only Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the department.
• Work primarily involves cardiac and routine nuclear medicine exams (approximately 75% cardiac).
• Average workload is about 35-50 scans per month.
• No floating or coverage of other areas required.
• Assists with Mobile PET scanner if time allows.
• Day shift, Monday through Thursday, starting at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM.
• No weekends, no holiday requirements, and no on-call duties.

Equipment & Systems

• New Siemens SPECT/CT scanner.
• Philips PACS and EPIC EMR systems.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• ARRT (N) certification is a bonus but not required.
• Must be able to start IVs.
• Experience in cardiac nuclear medicine required.
• Comfortable working independently as the sole Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

• Department orientation provided by Director and Radiation Safety Officer.
• Scrubs can be any color; scrubs are not provided.
