Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Angiography / Special Procedures
Number of Beds: 4
Number of Staff: 9 (Day Shift: 5 RNs and 4 technologists)
Equipment: Phillips and GE biplane
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

Perform heavy neuro interventional radiology procedures
Must have Neuro IR experience
Call required after hours and on weekends
Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
Experience with heavy neuro interventional radiology volumes
Neuro IR experience
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification
Training on hazardous drug risk as per USP 800 guidelines

Additional Notes

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Candidates without Neuro IR experience will not be considered
