Job Description
The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. Responsibilities include maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and supervising assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), with LTAC experience within the last year
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
