Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Number of Beds in Hospital: 272
Cath Suites: 2 (both with Phillips equipment)
Staff: 5 Techs, 6 RNs
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 3-5 Techs, 2-4 RNs
- Night Shift: On call
EMR Systems: Meditech and Mac Lab experience preferred
Call: 7-8 days per month, including one weekend
Patient Ratios: Not specified

Job Description

Perform basic Cath Lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring
Assist with conscious moderate sedation
Work collaboratively in a fun, team-oriented environment
Manage stressful situations with strong communication skills

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification

Preferred Qualifications

RCIS certification
ARRT certification
Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus but not required
