Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech

Location: Oxford, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Wednesday-Friday shifts


Job Summary

Seeking an Ultrasound Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in North Carolina.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including general ultrasound experience.
  • Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Proof of identity with government-issued photo ID.
  • Background check: 7-year criminal history, education verification, and other standard screenings.
  • Verification of licensure through primary source.
  • Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands, updated annually.
  • Immunizations and health screenings including:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months prior to start
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or declination
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
    • Varicella immunity or declination
  • Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within the last 12 months.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.

Additional Requirements

  • Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training.
  • Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations.
  • Employment application and skills checklist updated annually.
  • Compliance with facility-specific policies and documentation.

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • Candidates must carry photo ID during hours of service.
  • Flu vaccine exemptions require completion of facility-specific forms with supporting documentation.
