Minimum Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician licensure in Arizona OR active Pharmacy Intern licensure in Arizona. The AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card must be provided at time of hire.
• Minimum of two years of pharmacy technician experience. Experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with sterile compounding, including preparation of compounded intravenous medications, total parenteral nutrition products, and chemotherapeutic agents, with working knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> standards.
• Experience with automated dispensing systems and inventory management, including investigating discrepancies and restocking ADCs (when allowed by law and facility policy).
• Experience handling controlled substances in compliance with federal and state regulations and facility procedures.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations and use pharmacy computer systems to investigate missing medication requests.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under the company auto insurance policy if off-site travel is required.
• PTCB certification preferred.

• Site duties include non-sterile and sterile compounding, repackaging, inventory management, ADC restocking, and customer service to clinical staff and patients.
