Here are the details of the contract:

Location: Aiken, SC
Job Title: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse
Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Traveler Requirement: Must reside 100 miles from the facility.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• 6 months of Travel RN experience required
• Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Active RN License in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS required
• CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training) required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• BSN highly preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Complete admissions, discharges, and patient education while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
