1 year of PT experience required. New graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. First-time travelers accepted with at least 1 year of experience. BLS required. Facility & Unit Details:
Critical Access Hospital providing inpatient and outpatient physical therapy, home visits, and swing bed services in a rural community. The facility operates three outpatient PT clinics and provides inpatient coverage based on staffing and patient needs. Therapists may primarily work in one area but must be flexible to support both inpatient and outpatient services as needed.
The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence. Collaboration with providers and care teams across acute, outpatient, and swing bed settings is essential.
Location Highlights:
Located in rural Western Montana near the Clark Fork River, the area offers access to skiing, snowshoeing, wildlife viewing, fishing, and mountain recreation. Glacier National Park is approximately a 30-minute drive away, Flathead Lake is about an hour away, and Missoula and Kalispell are roughly an hour away, offering shopping, dining, and airport access. The area provides a close-knit community and broad clinical experience across multiple care settings.
