Description
Registered Nurse – Cath Lab
Location: Beckley, WV 25801
Start Date: 11/24/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday; 84 hours per 2-week pay period (alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedule per facility requirement)
Float Required: Yes, within scope of practice
Call Requirement: Yes; 1–2 weekday call shifts and 1–2 weekends per month
Note: Travel experience required.
Position Overview: Provide nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Monitor patients during procedural sedation, assist with cardiac interventions, manage vascular access and sheath removal, administer medications, and support patient recovery while maintaining procedural safety.
Requirements:
License: Active West Virginia or Compact RN license in hand.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience; previous travel experience required. IR experience preferred.
Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS.
Patient Population: Adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Patient Diagnoses: Cardiac and vascular conditions requiring diagnostic catheterization, PCI, stent placement, and related interventions.
