Description
Location: Reidsville , NC 27320
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 3x12s
HPW: 36
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS and NIH certifications preferred.
- Medical-Surgical (MS)/Telemetry and Telemetry experience required.
- Must be experienced in caring for acutely ill Medical-Surgical and orthopedic patients.
- Must be willing to float.
- Must be competent in caring for patients with acute/chronic respiratory illnesses, postoperative general surgery and gynecological surgery, total knee/hip replacements, orthopedic conditions, acute/chronic pain, active GI bleeding, CHF/pulmonary edema, diabetes (hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia), renal failure, and drug overdose.
- Must be able to care for patients with CIWA scores below 7, suicidal patients, arrhythmias, patients receiving radioactive therapy, patients with uncontrolled or new-onset seizures, and stable COVID-19 patients.
